Time zone: Arizona
Reminder: None
Ends: 10:45am (duration is about 3 hours)

What: A safe 5K AND/OR 1 Mile Donut/Beverage Challenge!
Where: 7100 N Mockingbird Ln, Paradise Valley, AZ 85253 (Church Parking Lot)
When: Friday November 25th, 7:45am
Schedule:
7:45 – Arrive
8am – 5K Start
8:30-9:00am – Register for 1 Mile Waves
8:45 – 1 Mile Waves Start
9:30 – Awards/Raffles
The 5K (club sanctioned):
The 5K is pretty straight forward. Get there before 8, run 5K (see https://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/3662413810… for route). There will be signs/turns posted and some volunteers, but be familiar with the route!
The 1 Mile Beer/Donut Challenge (not sanctioned by anyone) :
We will register you for waves based on some seeding and start the waves at 8:45 (you have the option of doing the 5K and this event). We will set up A 1/4 MILE loop and follow the rules more or less as per the link below. If you wish to say “my official donut/beer mile time is…”, then read the rules very closely and prepare accordingly. There will be four main divisions for this event: 1. Beer (must be 21+); 2. Rootbeer; 3. Cream/Jelly Filled Donut; and 4. Glazed Donut, as well as prizes for each division (and subdivisions as we see fit such as women/men, masters etc.)
While we will have a few extras, you must bring your own beverages/donuts to this event. Again, choose wisely if you don’t want to be shamed (glazed donuts, not donut holes…Budweiser, not Ultra). You will set up your own beverages and donuts prior to your wave. I would suggest a paper bag or cover of some sort for beverages. You are also required to clean everything up afterwards (and quickly for the next wave)…everything!
